I got my start in media as a teenage ratbag, writing album and concert reviews in exchange for free tickets to shows in my hometown of Melbourne, Australia.

Based in NYC for 14+ years, my life as a writer has taken me all over the place: traveling to a remote fishing village in the Arctic Circle and a volcano in Nicaragua; interviewing artists including Lil’ Kim, Nas, Róisín Murphy, Mark Ronson, and Erykah Badu; and navigating the chaos of events like Art Basel and Maison Objet. I've learned about leather in Marrakesh, Champagne in Reims, candle-making in Oaxaca, and beyond.

As the editorial lead for independent publications, I’ve built content strategies, managed creative teams, executed branded partnerships, and maintained style and voice across every touchpoint.

Recently, I’ve been creating verbal identities, formulating editorial plans, and crafting copy for brands — as well as writing and editing for lifestyle publications and travel companies.
